Thanksgiving Wine Pairings

It’s already November and Thanksgiving is just around the corner which means there is no better time to plan your Thanksgiving Day menu and begin selecting wines to complement the feast. While there are plenty of incredible Thanksgiving recipes out there, we have chosen a few that might stir your appetite and get your creative wine pairing juices flowing!

Thanksgiving is a time to gather with family and friends and indulge in the delicious and festive seasonal dishes. It is also a time to try out your favorite Fratelli Saraceni wine with some of the classic Thanksgiving dishes.

Welcome Drink and Appetizer:

Cashews with Crispy Sage and Garlic + Blumond

Try pairing Blumond with Cashews with Crispy Sage and Garlic. The Italian blue drink paired with the light and crunchy cashews will start the festivities off with a pleasant and colorful holiday feel.

In the mood for something more traditional to welcome your guests? Our Prosecco DOC is the perfect drink to get the party started.

Main Dish

Tuscan-Style Turkey Alla Porchetta + Libero Chianti

Try pairing our Libero Chianti DOCG or Libero Toscana with this delicious recipe from Martha Stewart, Tuscan-Style Turkey Alla Porchetta.

These ruby red wines will enhance all the incredible flavors of your main feast without overwhelming your palate.

Beyond Turkey

Whole Roasted Salmon with Orange Butter Glaze + Volare

Trying something different this Thanksgiving? Seafood is a great alternative to the classic turkey recipes. We suggest pairing Volare with a recipe like this one: Whole Roasted Salmon with Orange Butter Glaze.

The subtle citrus flavor of Volare will pair exceptionally well with any seafood dish.

Dessert

French Apple Tart + Splendia

Finish your Thanksgiving dinner with a sparkling glass of our sweet strawberry bubbly, Splendia, paired with a French Apple Tart that will leave your taste buds feeling just right.

Happy Thanksgiving!
